Could There Be A Soprano’s Prequel In The Works?

Fans of the HBO drama The Soprano's were surprised and excited earlier this week when show creator David Chase said he was intrigued by the idea of writing a spin-off to the show.

The Associated Press video shown below has some very interesting quotes on what the show could be all about. Obviously with James Gandolfini deceased the story would have to be of different subject matter and potentially a different era.

“One would be the late '60s, early '70s, about all the racial animosity. Or the beginning, the really true beginning of the flood of drugs.”
