Ready Coffee Releases Limited Time Only Dirty Soda Flavors
Have You Ever Tried a Dirty Soda?
It's the newest food trend popping up in the Hudson Valley.
If you've never heard of Dirty Soda, it's way more appetizing than it sounds and a pretty easy concept.
A Dirty Soda is your favorite soft drink poured in a cup over ice, then you add your favorite flavored syrups and or creams.
While its a new trend to make its way to the Hudson Valley, Dirty Soda's have been around since 2012. They first popped up around 2010 in St. George, Utah by a drive-thru shop called Swig.
According to the research, Dirty Soda "emerged from the Mormon community" due to the fact that in those communities members abstain from alcohol, coffee and tea.
Dirty Sodas have popped up all across the Hudson Valley and now they're on the menu at a popular coffee spot.
Ready Coffee Introduces Limited Time Dirty Soda Drinks
Dirty Sodas have dropped in the Hudson Valley.
Ready Coffee, which has several Hudson Valley and Long Island locations, have added Dirty Soda's to their menu. They write:
We're in our Dirty era.
On social media they announced their 2 new Dirty Soda flavors: Cherry Bomb & Island Time.
Cherry Bomb is a mix of Coca-Cola, Cherry syrup and Coconut Cream. Island Time mixes Dr. Pepper, lime, vanilla and coconut cream.
The Ready Coffee Dirty Soda's are available at all of their locations on Long Island and only at the Hyde Park location in the Hudson Valley.
Additionally, these Dirty Soda flavors are only here for the summer.
I've tried both flavors and would give them a 10/10. As Dr. Pepper fan I prefer Island Time over Cherry Bomb, but wouldn't turn down either.
If someone from Ready Coffee is reading this: can you keep these Dirty Soda's forever? They're SO GOOD.
Other Dirty Soda Spots Across the Hudson Valley
