Your staycation just became more affordable with the arrival of Dutchess Hotel Week.

Dutchess County Tourism announced the return of Dutchess Hotel Week. An opportunity to save some big bucks on area hotels the weeks of January 23rd-29th and January 30th- February 5th. All hotels participating have dropped their nightly rates to $99, that's more than 50% off for some of the hotels. There are very nice properties on the list. My suggestions, check out the Beekman Arms in Rhinebeck or the Rhinecliff Inn. Both beautiful and historic properties in great areas.

I've been wanting to stay at the Rhinecliff for years and haven't because it can be a bit pricy, especially since I live 15 minutes from there. But the hotel is on the water and walking distance from China Rose, a great Chinese restaurant not to be missed. And isn't far from Rhinebeck which also offers some amazing culinary offerings and my favorite beer spot, Grand Cru. So take a night for yourself, escape the day to day and save a little money in process.

Need more ideas on what to do? No problem, check out DutchessTourism.com for all the area happenings and more information on Dutchess Hotel Week.

Enjoy!
