Baby Fox In New York Wildlife Rehab Lavishly Learns To Eat
Very often, we are sharing stories about members of the Hudson Valley Wildlife community that are found and sent to a place for care or rehab. It isn't often that we can share an update, but The Friends of the Feathered and Furry Wildlife Center (FFFWC) tries to keep the story going with the animals they take in for care.
The Friends of the Feathered and Furry Wildlife Center Helps Baby Fox
The FFFWC stays very busy year-round with wildlife that has either been injured or orphaned, which was the case with these foxes that the FFFWC gave an update on this week. One came to them in March, the others in April.

For those of you who don't know, the FFFWC is a wildlife rehabilitation center located in the Catskill Mountains of New York. Over the years since their founding, they have come to the aid of countless animals.

Their motto and mission are "Let Wild, Be Wild". Their goal is to get animals they care for back out into their natural environment. As in the case of these adorable Foxes. The plan is to send them on their way in August.

The video reel from social media that I shared below is of a fox that the FFFWC took in back in March when he was separated from his mother while she was moving all the kits to a new location. A good Samaritan saw him get left behind, and when mom didn't return, the FFFWC stepped in to help with his care.

After the little cutie arrived, other foxes soon followed. The FFFWC managed to care for them all. They are now ready to be outside, and I think later this fall, all of the fox babies will be grown up enough to head out on their own.
