Flaming Lips Pay Tribute To Legendary Band

Flaming Lips Share are sharing the track listing for their upcoming album, where they pay tribute to a legendary band.The Flaming Lips are filling fans in on the rest of the acts they worked with for their "Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band" cover album. The collaboration with Miley Cyrus on the Beatles classic "Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds" is out now, but the pop star also appears on "A Day in the Life." And on top of that, frontman Wayne Coyne's new Instagram photo of the hand-drawn track list shows that My Morning Jacket, J Mascis, and Fever the Ghost will be handling the opening title track. Foxygen and MGMT will take on the reprise a little later, while Tool frontman Maynard James Keenan joins the band on "Being for the Benefit of Mr. Kite!" The Fab Four tribute also includes contributions from Moby, Dr. Dog, Phantogram, Tegan and Sara, Grace Potter, and many more. The Flaming Lips' "With a Little Help from My Fwends" is due out in October.
