George ‘The Animal’ Steele Dead at 79, Twitter Mourns
One of wrestling's biggest icons has passed away.
George ‘The Animal’ Steele has died at the age of 79. Both the WWE and Hulk Hogan broken the news on Twitter.
A WWE Hall of Famer, Steele (real name: Williams James 'Jim' Myers) had been battling various health setbacks. According to TMZ, he died from kidney failure on Thursday after reportedly entering hospice care.
Steele had recently posted some cryptic tweets.
