Nintendo has played a huge role in so many of our childhoods. Some of us go back to the original Nintendo Entertainment System. Do you have any fond memories of playing Dunk Hunt, Super Mario Bros. 3 and the Legend of Zelda. The NES was released in 1985 but gamers played it will into the next decade. The Nintendo Entertainment System's successor was okay but didn't really offer much more.

Nintendo was able to get back on the map in 1996 with the release of the Nintendo 64.

First-person shooter games were not a new concept in 1997 but GoldenEye 007 really brought something new to home gaming consoles. It offered the infamous 4 player mode that allowed up to four friends play split screens on the television.

If you ask anyone who had a Nintendo 64 what their favorite game was there is a good chance they will choose GoldenEye 007. It's one of the highest selling games of all time.
