If you like punk rock then you are most likely a fan of Henry Rollins. In fact, his name is almost synonymous with the music genre. Many of us know him as the front man for Black Flag and the Rollins Band. Henry Rollins is so much more than singer and a punk these days. He is so much more than that. His impressive resume includes actor, poet, author and he is even a radio DJ who hosts a weekly show.

It is safe to say that you don't need to be a punk rocker to enjoy his live performance coming to Poughkeepsie.

That is because these days Rollins is doing fewer stage dives and head banging. He still might do a little yelling into a microphone from time to time. Rollins is bringing his spoken word tour to Poughkeepsie soon.

Rollins' spoken word album, "Get in the Van" won a Grammy in 1995. He's been doing this for a while and he's ready to share his thoughts, stories and  life experiences with a Hudson Valley audience.

Here is a clip from one oh his previous performances from 1993.
