Homeless Hudson Valley Man Accused of Stealing Snow Blowers on Christmas
A homeless Hudson Valley man is accused of stealing a number of snow blowers on Christmas.
On Christmas, the Kingston Police Department received reports of stolen snow blowers from a home on Tremper Avenue. Authorities received reports of another stolen snow blower from a home on Clinton Avenue on Dec. 26.
An investigation ensued. As a result of the investigation, two stolen snow blowers were found in 36-year-old Christopher W. McCaul’s possession, police say. The homeless Kingston man was charged with two counts of fifth-degree criminal possession of stolen property, a misdemeanor.
McCaul was remanded to Ulster County Jail.
