Hudson Valley Bakery Wins Award For 'Hocus Pocus' Cake

I don't think you learn how to make one of these from any old recipe booooooook. A bakery here in the Hudson Valley is getting some much deserved praise for their stunning cake.

I love that show 'Nailed it' on Netflix. It's so much fun to watch amateur bakers attempt to make an insane cake design and crash and burn. It might be fun to see the failures but it is even more astonishing to see the beautiful cake designed and made by professionals. Did you know that we have those professionals right here in the Hudson Valley?

Artisan Bakery Expo recently held a contest in Atlantic City and the bakers at The Cakery in Fishkill, New York entered their Hocus Pocus themed cake.

The complicated and detailed cake was a huge success at the expo.

According to The Cakery Fishkill's post on Instagram, the cake won 2 awards. The cake took first place for professional novelty cakes and it also took best in show.
