The Love Holds Life Children’s Cancer Foundation, based in Hopewell Junction, is a charity that provides resources for medical bills and other costs associated with childhood cancer that are not covered by insurances.

Richard Senato, from Poughkeespie, founded the non-profit five years ago. He says the charity's name comes from an old saying his mother used to tell him, “Without love, there is not life.”

All the proceeds from The Love Holds Life Spring Fling will go towards helping area children battling cancer. To reserve tickets for the event call (845) 592-4544 or purchase them at the door.
