Hudson Valley Drive-In Movie Theaters Allowed To Open Friday
Hudson Valley drive-in movie theaters will be allowed to open Friday as New York begins to move to a new phase in the economic recovery from the effects of COVID-19. The Hudson Valley Post reported on an announcement last week where, if a certain number of metrics were met, select business' would be permitted to begin to reopen.
so some low-risk businesses will be allowed to open their doors. Landscaping and gardening may resume along with recreational activities like tennis and golf.
While Overlook Drive-In and Hyde Park Drive-In haven't made any official announcement yet, Fair Oaks Drive-In in Middletown is planning to open. They won't have new movies until July 17th but will be playing Sonic The Hedgehog and Bad News Bears this weekend.
