The Town of Ulster Gander Mountain was robbed last week and felony charges are pending. The Town of Ulster Police revealed via press release that three Dutchess County men were taken into custody as a result.

Gander Mountain employees allegedly observed Steven Riccoboni of Beacon and Kiernan Sheppard and Richard Johnson of Poughkeepsie stealing items from the store. They were taken into custody after removing nearly $1,400 in merchandise. Each was charged with felony grand larceny in the 4th degree and conspiracy in the 5th degree which is a misdemeanor.

All three men are to return to the Town of Ulster Court at a later date to face charges after being arraigned last week.

Camper's World recently purchased Gander Mountain and announced the closure many locations. Many items are drastically reduced throughout the store. Perhaps picking a store that is going out of business wasn't the best decision. Well, stealing in general isn't a very good idea to begin with.
