A Hudson Valley man has been charged with a hate crime after vandalizing various buildings with hate speech.

According to New York State Police 24 year-old James Blazeski was arrested after an investigation revealed that the Goshen resident was responsible for vandalizing various buildings in the Village Kiryas Joel with hate speech. Police say graffiti was found inside some of the multi-dwelling buildings and was hateful in nature, directed at the Jewish Community.

Blazeski has been charges with Criminal Mischief 4th degree as a Hate Crime, a class E Felony.  Blazeski was arraigned in the Village of Monroe Court and remanded to Orange County Jail on $2500 cash bail and $7500 bond.
