A small Hudson Valley town is expected to be overrun with rocking horses this summer.

At least that's the hope of the Saugerties Chamber of Commerce, who announced they will be coordinating a street art display this summer consisting of dozens of crazy rocking horses.

Applications are now being taken for artists who are interested in creating a rocking horse to be displayed on the streets of Saugerties throughout the summer. The "Rockin' Around Saugerties" exhibit will end with the horses being sold at a charity fundraiser.

If you're an artist and would like to participate, just head over to discoversaugerties.com where you can download an application and submit a drawing of your design. Participants will get a $50 stipend to help with supplies and receive 30% of the final auction price of their artwork.

Those who aren't as artistically inclined can also participate by sponsoring a rocking horse. Applications for local businesses who want to help out are also available on the Chamber of Commerce's website.
