Do you like to go berry, vegetable or apple picking? Where do you go to pick? Do you have a secret spot? Do you pick enough to just make one or two things? Or do you make jams, jellies or can?

Here are a few Hudson Valley farms that might be worth your checking out. Make sure to check each websites for their current hours and list of available items.

Greig Farm, Red Hook. They have all different types of berries for you to pick. DOn't have time to pick? They have market set up so you can buy them there without having to take the time to pick them yourself.

Kelder’s Farm: Kerhonksen. They have both berries and vegetables, plus they have opportunities for you to participate in their CSA, ask about a farm share when you visit. Bring the kids. According to their website, this farm has quite a few activities for the wee ones.

Fishkill Farms: Fishkill. According to their website, right now they have cherries and mulitple types of vegetables, plus fresh flowers to pick.

Thompson-Finch Farm: Ancram. This farm is also certified organic. According to their website, they are wrapping up blueberry picking season. Their hours are a bit more limited than the other farms listed, but if certified organic is important, check this place out. Hours are Wednesday and Saturday mornings.
