Every week, In Touch, our weekly public affairs program talks to groups and organizations about things happening within the Hudson Valley.  This week, we talked with Mary Ann Bopp from Pet's Alive.

Pet's Alive will be sponsoring the Boris and Robyn Pet Costume contest from WPDH on Saturday October 27, at Petco in Poughkeepsie.  The events is from noon to 2pm on Route 9 in Poughkeepsie.  We talk at great length about the event during our interview.

Also, during the interview we discuss Pet's Alive.  From their 82 acre facility in the Orange County.  Mary Ann, discussed the cat house, where they house over 90 cats at one time.  Plus how the public can adopt dogs and cats, even pigs and horses.  Yes, it's a full working farm with animals.

Pet's Alive also looks for donations to keep the operation going.  Mary Ann talked about how to be come a one time donor or how to make a monthly recurring donation.
