Ulster County Summer Festival Returns With Food Trucks & More

We are stepping into warmer days in the Hudson Valley! We can all agree that this winter has been cold, snowy and we simply need more sunshine.

Thankfully, we have a lot to look forward to in the month of March. This month marks the official start of spring and Daylight Saving Time where we spring forward as well.

While we get to watch mother nature and our wild life friends make their return, we can get excited about the events that will also be in our area.

What Spring Events Will Take Place In The Hudson Valley?

A community favorite spring festival will take over the Orange County area.The Spring Festival in Sugar Loaf, NY will take place on May 23, 2026 and May 24, 2026 from 10am until 5pm. This event will continue rain or shine.

The Spring Festival in Sugar Loaf will feature two days of fun and spring vibes! We can look forward to the activities on site such as shopping from local vendors, enjoying food trucks and listening to live music. There will also be a beer garden, kids zone and a dog friendly area as well.

What Summer Events Will Take Place In The Hudson Valley?

The Hudson Valley community has their favorite fairs and festivals that they enjoy attending each year. Some of these events include the Orange County Fair in Middletown, the Dutchess County Fair in Rhinebeck and the Ulster County Fair in New Paltz.

This summer, there's going to be a new festival that will take over the Ulster County Fairgrounds. We can attend The Vintage In The Hudson Valley Festival in July.

The beloved UFO Fair that takes place in each year is returning this summer as well. We can attend this popular event on June 6, 2026 in the downtown Pine Bush area.

In addition to these exciting summer events in the Hudson Valley, there's another community favorite festival returning in 2026.

Ulster County Festival Returns This Summer With Live Music And Food Trucks

The Saugerties Food Truck Festival will take place at Cantine Veterans Memorial Field in Saugerties. This event will be on July 3, 2026 from 4pm to 9pm.

In previous years, this festival took place throughout the summer and residents were able to enjoy it often. The Saugerties Chamber of Commerce has shared pictures on their social media of the food trucks on site along with live music and happy residents from this event.

Eat Your Way Through The Hudson Valley With The Best Ice Cream

I have always enjoyed stopping by my favorite local ice cream shops and choosing a new flavor. Whether it's a hot fudge sundae, chocolate peanut butter ice cream in a cone, or an ice cream sandwich, count me in.

The Hudson Valley has strange ice cream flavors. From lemon poppyseed to thai iced tea and barn boots, there aren't any boring flavors in our area.

A 'Premiere' Hudson Valley treat shop was expanding their space during the winter months to prepare for a busy summer season.

Thankfully, we have a large selection of local ice cream shops to visit in the Hudson Valley.
