Sessions Is Back in February AND March....4 Days Apart Actually

We've got some big plans over the next few weeks and think you'll be pretty excited for these (yes I said these) upcoming sessions shows, ready?

WRRV Sessions welcomes Des Rocs (Friday 2.27) and welcomes (back) The Ramona Flowers (Tuesday 3.3). A Friday night new Sessions performer followed by a Tuesday night returning band, absolutely!

Des Rocs at WRRV Sessions, Friday, February 27th

It kind of feels like a lifetime ago, but back in 2021 during the ol'COVID days when we weren't allowed to do things in person, I had the chance to interview Des Rocs, aka Danny Rocco, a musician out of NYC, ahead of the release of his debut album A Real Good Person In A Real Bad Place. Fast forward nearly five years, and we're ready to finally meet Des in person, and rock Newburgh Brewing the best way we know how to on a Friday night.

Des has been pretty busy these past few years, touring with the likes of The Stones (yes, The Rolling Stones), Muse, Bring me the Horizon, and even WRRV Sessions alum Kaleo. Not to mention working on a new album AND creating a track for the Borderlands 4 video game soundtrack.

You've heard This Land on WRRV, and i'm going to assume we'll hear it on Friday, February 27th at Newburgh Brewing Company. Showtime is 6pm, doors open up at 4pm, WRRV app is all you need to get in the door.

WRRV Welcomes The Ramona Flowers BACK to Newburgh Brewing Company, Again!

I take it upon myself to call certain bands and artists 'friends' once they've played Sessions more than once, and when it comes to The Ramona Flowers, I think we may soon be able to call them family as they prepare for their THIRD visit to the taproom - I think they'll be pretty excited to see the new stage setup that Newburgh Brewing Company has since their last visit!

The last time we spent time with The Ramona Flowers was in September of 2024, and since then they've released a new album called Made By Humans, and just last week began their North American tour where they'll make a NY stop at The Mercury Lounge on March 6th.

Ahead of that stop, they've carved out some time to hang out with us, for a fun night of live tunes at Newburgh Brewing Company on Tuesday, March 3rd. As usual, doors at 4pm, performance at 6.
