J.Crew Factory in the Poughkeepsie Plaza

The ribbon has been cut, the doors are now open for customers, and shoppers have been stopping in to see what J.Crew Factory looks like in Poughkeepsie.

Though the Hudson Valley was made aware of the plans for the store's opening back in January, interest grew this week as the official 'J.Crew' logo appeared on the Poughkeepsie Plaza signage nearest Route 9, and then opening day (and weekend) festivities were announced.

Poughkeepsie Plaza 'Premier Shopping Center'

When making the initial announcement about J.Crew Factory becoming a Poughkeepsie Plaza business, Royal Properties Managing Director Scott Meshil noted that the new addition to the already thriving plaza will 'solidify its place as the premier shopping center in Dutchess County, NY.'

The plaza, already home to big name stores like TJ Maxx, Homegoods, Marshall's, Sierra and Mattress Firm, and locally owned places like The Pastry Garden, Giacomo's, and Sugar & Spice. J.Crew Factory can now be found nestled between Marshall's and Sugar & Spice, in the old Harmon location.

Believe it or not, it has already been two years since the popular 'value store,' Harmon, closed up their Poughkeepsie location for good.

J.Crew Factory will be open from 10am until 7pm Monday through Saturday, and 11am until 6pm on Sundays, and will have special offers throughout the weekend to celebrate their grand opening!
