If you're a fan of obscure, strange, weirdo movies, then you're probably going to want to be at the Alamo Drafthouse in Yonkers this Saturday. The theater is hosting a marathon event known as Cinemapocalypse, in which six of "the rarest, weirdest, most badass films" they could find will be screening over the course of a single day.

All the movies are being pulled from the American Film Genre Archive, a film preservation organization that specializes in oddball stuff. All the films will remain a mystery until they're playing up there on the screen, but it sounds like they will have something for just about everybody.

The movies will span different decades, countries, and genres, and the website promises "rugged cops, maniacal villains, bumbling spies, kung-fu fighters, and a whole lot of badass women (both behind and on the screen)." And, as usual with Drafthouse marathons like this, all the movies will be presented on 35mm. Tickets are still available, and cost $35.
