Fan Favorite Now Returning to McDonald’s Menus in 2025

See...it wasn't ALL bad news in 2024. A confirmation heard round the world on Thursday December 5th has people anticipating the new year even more, as a ridiculously popular fan-favorite snack will soon return to McDonald's locations around the globe come 2025.

McDonald's Executive: 'We Let People Down'

Appearing on morning television, primarily to discuss the E.coli outbreak situation and the current updates, McDonald's President Joe Erlinger indicated that the deadly outbreak that was linked to his company's Quarter Pounders 'officially over,' as per the CDC.

We let people down. I want to apologize to all of our customers who were harmed by this incident.

Though the CDC and the FDA have declared the situation 'all clear,' McDonald's said there is still work to be done, and though important health-related information was shared during the sit down, perhaps the part that has people buzzing is regarding an insanely popular menu item that is confirmed to return in 2025.

McDonald's President Announces Return of Snack Wrap in 2025

It's official, like really really official; the coveted chicken (grilled or crispy) with lettuce, cheese and sauce, nestled inside a soft tortilla, WILL be returning to McDonald's locations in 2025.

Though we don't have an exact date (we see what you did with that xx.xx), or any other information outside of 'they're coming back in 2025,' the overwhelming response from the masses is an indication of just how exciting this announcement is.

Remember when there were variations of the classic snack, and people had a hard time deciding which one to order?

Snack Wraps Return Following Hiatus

A brief history lesson on the Snack Wrap, it was first introduced back in 2006, people went wild for them, and then in 2016 they were suddenly pulled from menus due to 'underperformance' and 'time needed to make.' The McChatter was that McDonald's employees said the menu item was complicated to make...

There was a time when individual franchises were able to continue serving the handheld item, but then in 2020 the snack wrap vanished from menus completely due to 'simplification.'

Well, thankfully all of this is behind us, and we can let out a collective sigh of relief that once the clock strikes midnight on NYE, that there are less than 365 until we can get Snack Wrap(ping) once more.
