With such a strong critical and commercial performance from the latest installment of the popular series, will there be a sixth M:I film?

Why yes, yes there will be. And it might be sooner than you realize. Speaking to Jon Stewart, Mr. Cruise spilled that he wants to get started on the next installment in the series by next summer.

As of the writing of this article, Mission: Impossible: Rogue Nation has pulled in over $50 million domestically in its first weekend and sits at a phenomenal 93% on Rotten Tomatoes; with Tom Cruise's unbelievable star power around the world, expect this movie to be one of the highest-grossing releases in a summer that's been filled with them.
