Here are your choices:

1. Die Hard (1988)

It's Bruce Willis killing terrorist while scurrying through a vent on Christmas. What more could you want?

Memorable Quote "Ho, ho, ho, now I have a machine gun."

2. The Terminator (1984)

Arnold Swartzeneggar was in so many action movies in the 80's it was diffucult to narrow it down to just one but this one paved the way for an entire genre and huge franchise that still makes millions in 2017.

Memorable Quote: "I'll be back."

3. Aliens (1986)

They say that in space no one can here you scream. In this sequel to the 1979 sci fi movie Alien, James Cameron didn't exactly re invent the wheel. But he damn near perfected it on this planetary adventure. Aliens has been credited for paving the way for modern shooter video games.

Memorable Quote: "Get away from her you bi***!"

4. Lethal Weapon (1986)

One word, Riggs! Possibly the best Christmas ever. A psycho cop with a death wish partnered with an old school family man close to his pension. A classic mix. The fight between Hollywood's most insane actors, Mel Gibson and Gary Busey is enough to put this movie on the list.

Memorable Quote: "I'm too old for this sh**." (cue saxophone)

5. Bloodsport (1988)

Jean-Claude Van Damme plays Frank Dux, a kickboxer who enters the Kumite'. He beats up just about everyone including a crime boss. There's also a montage where he's kicking trees and doing the splits. He even beat the dreaded Chong Li while blinded by sand.

Memorable Quote: "You're next!"
