The Smashing Pumpkins are looking to add some new stuff to Machina/The Machines of God."  According to the band's official website, Billy Corgan and company are considering commissioning remixes and bringing in current artists to re-sing parts of the album, which was originally released in 2000.  The intention of the upcoming reissue is to present "Machina" as a theatrical narrative, the form in which it was originally written.  Corgan says he hopes to finish what the band started so long ago, but "just didn't have the strength to end."  Meanwhile, the Smashing Pumpkins are also prepping a massive reissue of the band's 1998 album, "Adore."  The six-disc collection is expected to be released sometime this summer.
