Heading to the movies this weekend? Here is a look at a few of the new releases. Will they be "popcorn worthy"?

The Gallows

A life-saving cancer treatment has unthinkable consequences in "Self/Less."  A wealthy cancer patient allows his consciousness to be transferred to the body of a younger man. However, once he's in his new body, he finds that the man has enemies who will stop at nothing to kill him.  Ryan Reynolds, Oscar award winning actor, Ben Kingsley and Michelle Dockery star in this sci-fi thriller.
A transgender prostitute wanders the streets of Los Angeles searching for a pimp who wronged her in "Tangerine."  After her pimp and lover leaves her for another woman, Sin-Dee sets out on Christmas Eve to set her man straight and to confront the other woman. Shot entirely on an iPhone, this film opens today July 10, in limited theaters.
