This year, WRRV turns 30. To celebrate, we're presenting as many shows as possible with bands that helped make the station what it is today. While things are getting started a little early, there's going to be plenty to celebrate this summer.

Great Alternative Shows Coming to Bethel Woods

Shows kick off at Bethel Woods with the Dave Matthews Band in May (win tickets here) followed by Avril Lavigne and Simple Plan in June. Tickets are also up for grabs to see Barenaked Ladies in July, but the biggest shows of all were just announced for August.

WRRV Presents: The Offspring and Live + Collective Soul at Bethel Woods Center for the Arts

On Friday, August 1st, WRRV proudly presents The Offspring, Jimmy Eat World, and New Found Glory at Bethel Woods Center for the Arts! Part of The Offspring's Supercharged world tour, Bethel Woods will be the band's only Hudson Valley-area stop before heading down to Jones Beach later in the month.

WRRV launched in 1995, nearly perfectly coinciding with The Offspring releasing their seminal album, Smash. Songs like Come Out and Play and Self Esteem helped cement their legacy as one of the biggest bands in alternative radio history, and it only makes sense to celebrate 30 years of WRRV at their show!

But that's not all - not only are we giving away front row tickets to this show, we're ALSO giving away front row seats to the Live and Collective Soul co-headlining show the VERY NEXT DAY! Best known for hits like, "I Alone," and "Lightning Crashes," Live burst onto the alternative music in the 90's. Collective Soul reached mainstream popularity in 1993 following the release of their hit single, "Shine" off of their debut album, Hints, Allegations, and Things Left Unsaid.
