14th Annual Holiday Lights In Bloom Announced for 2022 in Orange County
Beginning the day after Thanksgiving, Friday, November 25th at the Arboretum in Thomas Bull Memorial Park, the 14th annual Holiday Lights in Bloom light display is preparing to light for the season. What's really unique about this event is that the light display itself is incorporated into the Arboretum and participants will have the opportunity to walk through the display.
By definition, an arboretum is a botanical collection of different species of trees. In Orange County, at the Holiday Lights in Bloom specifically,
Arboretum will be in “full bloom” with beautiful, garden themed light displays in the forms of flowers, animals and insects. Children, and adults alike, will be charmed as they stroll through the various themed gardens created in lights
The schedule for this FREE event at Thomas Bull Memorial Park is as follows:
- Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays (Beginning November 25th) 5pm-8pm
- Nightly (December 19th through December 23rd) 5pm-8pm
Visitors should plan to arrive on site at 41 Grove St., Hamptonburgh, NY 10916 no later than 7:30pm to ensure you have enough time to get through the display before the lights turn off at 8pm. Also note, no pets, no groups larger than 15, no busses permitted and unfortunately. The Orange County Department of Parks, Recreation and Conservation also shared that as a result of damage from a fire in the Ottaway Education Center, there unfortunately not be a holiday boutique or access to the indoor restrooms. There will, however, be Porta-Johns on site. Additional details can be found here.
