Panic! At The Disco frontman Brandon Urie will be just a Metro North train ride away from the Hudson Valley all summer after landing a role on Broadway.

Playbill reports he'll be starring as Charlie Price in Kinky Boots from late May until early August so don't expect any Panic! At The Disco shows during that span. Urie will take over for Killian Donnelly and will play at the Al Hirschfeld Theater.

Panic! At The Disco saw quite the resurgence with the release of 2016's Grammy nominated 'Death of a Bachelor' but Urie seems to want to push himself into new areas.

In a Playbill interview he states that he's a fan of the play and theater in general and is excited to join the cast for the limited run. The question is has Urie caught the acting bug? If this goes well, will we see him back on Broadway sometime?
