The eighth Pokémon Go Community Day will take place on two days, Saturday August 11th and Sunday August 12th. The last community day had over 200 people from around The Hudson Valley and beyond participate. The excitement is already spreading though out the community about their first double header community day.

The Featured Pokémon for both days will be Eevee. For the first time Vanderbilt Mansion will host a community day on Saturday August 11th.  Having this event at a National Historic Site could offer a lot of cool new opportunities for those augmented reality photos we love to post so much.

Sunday August 12th, community day part two will return to it's roots at Dutchess Community College. DCC has been incredible with hosting this event and comfortably accommodating all the participants with access to bathrooms and air conditioned lounges.

Both dates begin at 1:30 for the purposes of socializing and trading. The in-game event runs 2:00pm-5:00pm with an award ceremony after each day. More information can be found on The Pokémon Go in The Hudson Valley Facebook Page. If you plan to attend don't forget to RSVP on their Facebook Event.
