Poughkeepsie will mark this year's 13th anniversary of the September 11th 2001, terrorist attacks by breaking ground for the city's 9/11 memorial park.  Plans call for the park to be located next to the Poughkeepsie City Hall and two beams from the World Trade Center will be installed at the site.

The idea is that you will be able to sit and reflect on the beams from the World Trade Center site, and pay tribute to those who lost their lives.

If you want to be a part of it, either by volunteering or through sponsorship, contact Randy Ross of the Kiwanis Club of Poughkeepsie.
