Poughkeepsie, like many other cities in the country, has had its exit of residents, issues with jobs, cost of living and more but it's time for it to change.

According to the New York Times, Poughkeepsie is a "Postindustrial City that is ready for its revival."

The article goes on to talk about how things are rebuilding, the economy is picking up, the housing market is on the rise and with the convenient location to NYC, Albany and more, it's actually turning into a sought after city.

Now, we just need to get the factories back.

Poughkeepsie has already become a popular tourist attraction because of its beautiful views and unique places like the Walk over the Hudson.

Maybe auto manufactures could look into opening plants here, after all, we are close to water and shipping can be easy. Plus, we have NYC so that can't hurt.

Harley Davidson needs to expand so why not here in the Hudson Valley?
