Rage Against The Machine Tribute Show Set For Friday Night In Poughkeepsie

For anyone looking to rock out on Friday night, you may want to check out the Rage Against The Machine show being put on by People of the Sun over at The Chance Theater. Poughkeepsie will be rocking when the band takes the stage to pay tribute to one of the hardest rocking bands of this or any generation.

People of the Sun will be joined by the Chris Cornell tribute Euphoria Morning and local rockers Vice. Tickets are just $15 and will be available at the door. Doors open at 7 and the show starts at 8 PM.

I first met People of the Sun at a bar in Springfield Massachusetts in 1999 before I started working in radio. Who'd have thunk that several of the guys on stage that night would go on to form Nuts In a Blender and eventually Breaking Crazy. The band has gone through several line-up changes over the years and are eager to show off the RATM songs they've been working on.
