Growing up, I didn't have a favorite ice cream place. I am sure there were some good ones around, but my parents were more of the ice cream sandwich at home kind of people. Not having an ice cream spot as a kid to welcome in summer may be why, when I saw that there is a new ice cream spot on wheels that can come to you, I got excited and felt like a kid again, waiting for that first summer cone.

Scrolling through Facebook the other day, I saw that my car repair shop, Tom's Repair Shop in New Paltz, had invited the License to Chill Ice Cream Truck to stop by as a treat for their employees. I thought that was so awesome, considering it was during this crazy heat wave.
