Saugerties Car Crash Kills Four Local Men

A deadly car crash in Saugerties today has killed four local men in their 20s. The Daily Freeman reports the car went down a 250 foot embankment before hitting a house, then landing on it's roof.

A 19 year old female had been driving the car at the time of the accident which occurred at approximately 11:30 a.m. Wednesday. She was flown to Albany Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries.

Saugerties Police Cheif said the car was traveling south on Washington Ave, when it went into a drivewway and private road before going down the embankment, the car landed on Dock Street.

The investigation is continuing and the names of the victims have not been released.
