Hey Soul Sister, are you ready to add another concert to your calendar this summer?

It was confirmed Wednesday that Train will be taking the Chevy Court Stage on August 24 at 8PM - according to the Fair's Facebook page.

Pat Monahan and the rest of Train came to the Grandstand at the Great New York State Fair back in 2017. You know them from the 2001 Grammy-winning hit "Drops Of Jupiter," followed by "Meet Virginia" and "Calling All Angels." In 2009, the band again dropped a hit with "Hey Soul Sister."

Admission to any of the Chevy Court shows is included with the purchase of a ticket into the fair. All tickets this year will be $3 for people 12 and older.

This year’s 18-day fair, running from August 20 through September 6, 2021, will be an outdoor only event. Buildings will be closed to the public, except for bathrooms. Restaurant Row, with its open air buildings and seatings, will be open.

Fair officials are still deciding whether to have health screenings, temperature checks and proof of a negative COVID-19 test being required to attend. As we learn more about the requirements for the 2021 fair, we will keep you updated. One thing that's for sure: masks will be required.

More shows are expected to be announced in the upcoming weeks. You can visit the New York State Fair website for more information.

Take A Look Inside The Abandoned ShoppingTown Mall In Dewitt, NY

Onondaga County currently owns the ShoppingTown Mall located in Dewitt New York near the Syracuse area. As of today, the mall is abandoned. The future of the building will go to someone who has the best vision for it. Onondaga County has issued an official request for proposals (RFP) for ShoppingTown Mall. The property will be resold to the buyer with the best plan for revitalizing the vacant property.
Proposers will need to have a demonstrated history of producing "high quality projects," according to the statement. They will also need to produce financial information related to the project."
Jordan Harmon was able to tour the property and take plenty of photos recently with permission from Onondaga County:
The main purpose of this shoot was to document this historical structure before any alterations occur. I grew up with this mall, I can remember coming here as a kid. This was the place my family did our back to school shopping and the place where I’d blow my allowance at Fun Junction playing laser tag. To see it now is shocking to say the least. The former owner of the mall clearly made no effort to maintain it, let alone stop the hundreds of leaks in the roof.
