Looking for a home with a bit of movie history? Oscar winning movie history? The year was 1991 and the home was used to film scenes from the movie "Silence of the Lambs".

More specifically the house was used as the lair of the "Buffalo Bill" character, where he allegedly kept his victims in the dungeon pit in the basement. The only parts of the house that were used for the movie (over the course of the three days crews were actually there) were the foyer and the dinning room. That pit in the basement? Does not exist, those scenes were filmed on a sound stage.

Four bedrooms, one bath and a price that recently was reduced $50,000 to $249,000. The house has been on the market for sometime and despite being the second highest number of clicks for one house on Realtor.com in 2015, there has been no offers, just lookers. The current owners are looking to downsize now that their family has grown.
