As we navigate these next few days of holiday parties and extended family gatherings leading up to the main gifting event, collecting thoughtful (and thoughtless) gifts, and making our piles of keep - toss - regift, there's an event happening locally the day after Christmas that may change your outlook.

Sloop Brewing in Hopewell Junction is hosting their first annual 'Sh*tty Gift Swap' on Thursday December 26th from 3pm until 8pm. With Christmas falling on a Wednesday this year, it's likely that many people are using their PTO on Thursday and Friday to extend the holiday, so as you look at all of those 'what am I going to do with this' things you received for the holidays this year, bring them to Sloop for this amazing swapping opportunity.

Not only can you get rid of any 'sh*tty' or unwanted gifts you received this year, Sloop will replace your item with a 'super cool Sloop gift,' while supplies last.

They'll also be offering $5 pints as well.
