A History Lesson On Cold Foam
In the grand scheme of things, cold foam hasn't been around ALL that long, legend says (and by legend we mean a Starbucks social media post) it was first introduced back in 2014 as part of a specialty Starbucks drink back in 2014.
It first popped up in the 'Seattle Starbucks Reserve Roastery' for the Americano Con Crema drink, and in 2017 expanded to Roastery locations, and by 2018 in all U.S. and Canadian locations.
Dunkin' followed with a release in 2021 on a limited number of drinks, and then expanded their cold foam offerings, recently introducing banana, and even protein infused cold foam.
Of course, retailers were quick to follow, offering canned/bottled cold foam at the grocery store for your at-home barista needs.
Now that Stewart's is offering cold foam at no charge, though, do you think you'll give it a try or make it part of your regular coffee routine?
