Reports began circulating on social media that said the Stewart's Shop located at 12 Forestburgh Rd, in Monticello, NY, had shut down for good. To confirm the rumors, we contacted the store directly. An employee told us the location officially closed at 2:30 p.m. on Thursday, February 26th, 2026.
Why Did Stewart's Close?
According to a flyer distributed to customers, the Monticello store was no longer able to accommodate the equipment and space needed to expand its food offerings and additional services.
