The COVID pandemic changed the way that we interact within our society. Among the most noticeable is our education system. Students segued from traditional in-class learning to distance learning at the drop of a hat last spring.

Zoom. Google Classroom. Microsoft Teams. Synchronous. Asynchronous. Blended. Students have adapted to technology and learning in real time.

Some students discovered that they like the “new normal” of distance learning, while others cemented their preference for traditional on-campus, face-to-face learning.

SUNY Orange recognizes those shifting preferences among its new and returning students. For the Fall 2021 semester, SUNY Orange will be offering students an opportunity to construct their schedules either online, on-campus – or a blend of both – to meet their new and dynamic needs.

SUNY Orange has developed its Fall 2021 offerings so students that want to experience a more traditional “college experience” of face-to-face learning can construct a schedule that fits their needs. Simultaneously, those students who prefer, or need, the flexibility of an online learning plan will have access to a healthy array of online classes. And students who want the best of both can develop a blended schedule that fits their particular needs.

Additionally, to help students access higher education as we emerge from the pandemic, SUNY Orange will be keeping current tuition rates and fees flat for the 2021-22 academic year so students can fit their coursework into their budget.

Students can register now for the Fall semester which begins on Monday, Aug. 23. To get started on your degree from SUNY Orange, visit the college’s website at www.sunyorange.edu/schedules or email apply@sunyorange.edu to learn more.
