A 2-time NFL MVP and Super Bowl champion claims to have spotted a UFO while staying in the Hudson Valley.

Aaron Rodgers recently appeared on the “You Made It Werid” podcast. The Green Bay Packers Quarterback touched on a number of topics, including seeing a UFO in New Jersey in 2005.

His former California teammate, Steve Levy, confirms Rodgers story, but says the sighting happened at his parent’s home in Cornwall. It's possible Rodgers said New Jersey instead of Cornwall because Levy played high school football at Don Bosco Prep in the Garden State.

Before the 2005 NFL Draft, Rodgers was making media rounds in the Tri-State area. He went to visit his college teammate and have dinner at the Levy’s house.

"I remember very, very, very vividly what Aaron was talking about," Levy told NJ.com. "It was absolutely wild."

According to Levy, after dinner Levy, Rodgers, and members of the Levy family heard a strange noise coming from outside the Cornwall home.

"We went out to the back and there's a huge tree line over the top of my parents' property and we saw something," Levy recalled to NJ.com. "We saw the reddish, orange, yellowish light that kept going side by side. It was quite large. And then it just disappeared.”

“I Googled warp speed and that's the closest that it looked like, how it disintegrated. Like when you're watching Star Trek and they go warp speed and all those lights just turn into lines. It just vanished," Levy said.

Shortly after “three or four” fighter jets flew past the house, Levy said. "We heard this thunderous roar. It was like an earthquake hit my house. When we saw that, we thought the world was, like, ending.”

Whenever Rodgers plays the Jets or Giants, Levy says he meets up with Rodgers. Every time they meet, they talk about the night they claim they saw a UFO.

To this day, they both say they have no doubts in what they saw, "I stand behind Aaron. It had to be a UFO. There's nothing else that it could be," Levy proclaimed.

Steve Levy declined an interview for this story.
