With the way 2020 has been, nearly everything has adapted to being virtual. That includes the Radio City Rockettes offering dance classes.

One of the fondest memories from my childhood was actually being able to dance with the Rockettes. For my ninth birthday, my mom took my best friend, her mom, and I to New York City and surprised us with the Radio City experience. We spent a whole day getting a VIP experience, touring the buliding, dancing in the practice studio at Radio City Music Hall being taught by an actual Rockette (or several if I remember correctly) all of the dances that they perform in their "Radio City Christmas Spectacular."

Although my experience was in person, you can still get a similar experience virtually. New live video lessons are held every Wednesday in December (through Dec. 23) at 3 p.m. ET on the Rockettes’ Instagram page (and the videos remain available to view on Instagram after the live session ends). Each session is typically around 50 to 60 minutes long and includes a Q&A segment at the end.

Just as a note: some of the dances are much harder than others, so keep that in mind if you're a beginner. But, one thing is for sure. You have the chance to master the infamous Rockette Kick Line, which is incredible in its self.

You can see some of the classes that are still available to watch under the "full classes" highlight on their Instagram page, @therockettes.
