New York Teachers Can Save Big At This Store

Hate to bring up the taboo topic of back to school when we've just hit the midway through July point, but here we are. The idea of back to school feels overwhelming to many, but the costs associated with back to school prep, especially for teachers, even more so.

Here's everything we know about this back to school hotspot's 'Teacher Prep Event.'

Teachers Save 20% At Target

Every single little penny helps, right? Those pennies tend to add up over the years, so it's always nice when teachers have the opportunity to save at the cash register. We've been sharing the news of this special to the Hudson Valley for a few years now, and believe it or not, the opportunity to save is already underway at local Target stores.

From now until August 24th, teachers are able to get 20% off as a special discount on their entire purchase, whether in-store, or online, at Target.

Yes, entire purchase, that includes clothing and household items too...start making your list.

Teachers! Get Target Verified

In order for New York teachers to take advantage of this special discount, they'll need to create or sign into a Target account, and then make sure that they are signed up for Target Circle. Once in, you'll upload verification of your teacher status; this can be your teacher ID, recent pay stub, even documentation for homeschooling.

Once verified, teachers will have the opportunity to use the discount between now and August 24th.

Plus, and I found this out by looking through my Target app, students can also save on back to school essentials and get 20% off through September 28th by verifying that they are a college student. I'm in grad school and it took me less than a minute to answer the questions and receive my verification, score!
