Having taken the reins as the ace of the Mets pitching staff last season, Terry Collins has decided to give Noah Syndergaard the #1 start of the 2017 MLB season. Thor will start the season in Atlanta against the Braves on April 3rd, and we can only hope he picks up in 2017 where he left off in 2016.

3rd in ERA in the entire MLB last year, Noah was a force to be reckoned with. He was also 4th in the National League with 218 strikeouts, and had a miniscule 43 walks in 183 innings. He was one of the most consistently hard throwing pitchers in the entire major leagues, and he's still just 24 years old.

As much as the Mets were Matt Harvey's team a few season ago, there is no doubting that Thor will be the face of the Mets moving forward for the forseeable future.
