Two Kingston men were charged after police say they were in possession of heroin and crack cocaine.

On February 22nd, members of the Kingston Police Department’s Special Investigations Unit responded to John Street in the City of Kingston following complaints of narcotic activity at the residence.

Police located and interviewed 40-year-old Dennis S. Thomas and 55-year-old Ernest L. Cade, both of Kingston, regarding the complaint.

Police allege that Thomas was found to be in possession of heroin and Cade in possession of crack cocaine. Both were placed under arrest and charged with 7th-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, a misdemeanor.

Both were given appearance tickets to return to Kingston City Court at a later date.
