The Vikings are coming, the Vikings are coming!

I'm fresh off my trip from France and while there I learned a ton about the Vikings and their impact on France in the early ages. Now is your chance to learn a little yourself.

From Friday, Sept. 9 to Thursday, Sept. 15, the Viking Ship Draken Harald Harfagre will be at the Hudson River Maritime Center at the Roundout Landing in Kingston.

According to drakenexpeditionamerica.com, the ship is the world's largest Viking Ship built in the modern ages. The 115-foot ship has been sailing across the North Atlantic since April, a route once traveled by Vikings more than a century ago. Come check out this amazing replica and step back in time.
