How to Get Viral ‘Cookie Puss’ Cake in the Hudson Valley
There are strange-looking desserts... and then there's Cookie Puss. The unique flagship treat from Carvel Ice Cream is bizarre beyond measure, but getting your hands on one has proved harder than expected for many fans.
If you haven't seen a Cookie Puss before, it can be hard to understand what you're looking at when you finally gaze upon its face. With giant cookie eyes, a hulking ice cream cone nose, and teeny-tiny hands, the creation should be the stuff of nightmares. Instead, it's beloved by millions and continues to sell out across the country.

"Yes, his name is actually Cookie Puss and he's turning 53 next Tuesday", read a recent social media post from Carvel (below). The comment section was filled not only with fans of the dessert, but desperate customers who say they can't find the legendary cake.

"I’ve been trying to get my hands on one of these...literally impossible" lamented one commenter. "Same", echoed another. Luckily, Hudson Valley residents can get their hands on the iconic dessert in a few select locations.
While there are several Carvel Ice Cream locations in the Hudson Valley, a search on Carvel's official website quickly confuses things. In an attempt to pre-order a Cookie Puss cake, several locations suddenly disappeared from their map. Luckily, there was a resolution.

Hudson Valley Carvel locations include Hopewell Junction, Poughkeepsie, and Middletown, NY. While the Hopewell location is the only location available for order pickup on Carvel's website, a call to their Middletown location confirmed they had at least one Cookie Puss cake in stock at time of publishing.

Moral of the story: if you want one of the weirdest (and most popular) treats of the last five decades, a phone call might be all you need to secure a Cookie Puss of your very own. Happy hunting... check out more New York ice cream options below.
