In 1492, a man named Christopher Columbus took three ships and sailed the ocean blue. Did he really discover anything? That's debatable. Should he be celebrated? That's debatable too.
The validity of Columbus Day has been up for debate for quite sometime. There has been more tension and protests surrounding the holiday in recent years.
It poses the question, which holiday should we really be celebrating today?
