New Signage Showcases Wappinger Parks & Recreation
How does that saying go - 'a fresh coat of paint changes everything.' I know for me personally, whenever I get a fresh coat of paint on the walls in my house, or even do something as small as hang up a new photo or piece of art, it changes the entire feel of the space.
In the case of the Town of Wappinger, a fresh sign marking their parks and recreation facilities has certainly drawn some positive attention from passersby.

Wappinger Parks & Recreation Signage
I happen to live just down the street from one of Wappinger's many parks, and the shiny new signage that was recently added caught my eye immediately.
The Town has shared that the new signage is part of the effort to show pride and love for Wappinger parks.
We hope these signs will bring more awareness and enthusiasm to our beloved parks this Spring!
In total, Wappinger is home to 12 total parks and recreation facilities including Airport Park, Carnwath Farms, Castle Point, Fleetwood, Martz Field, Quiet Acres, Reese Park, Robinson Lane Park, Rockingham Park, Schlathaus Park, Spookhill Park, and the Town Hall facility.
You may recall the exciting news from last year when Martz Field received a lighting upgrade to offer 'pickleball' under the stars...but did you know that they're also offering Pickleball lessons?
